We then did our reading discussions. I felt like my questions were tough to answer since it was more about the big picture and pertained to societal issues. There was not just one answer and the discussion lead to different topics too. Class ended before I could present all my readings, but that’s okay. It was another loaded question for the class.
For the HAP that I am a part of, we had our second choir session. I printed more songs for everyone, which Gene, the man that plays the guitar at Seasons At La Jolla, shared with me. Cathy, the supervisor on the weekends, also sings along with us and the patients. She notices that some of the patients sing when they have lyrics in front of them instead of just listening. Even if they do not sing along, they like to read the song lyrics. I hope that these choir sessions impact them in some way because I really enjoy them.
