After a week's worth of spring break, we were all back on campus again. It felt good to see familiar faces and start off another quarter during our first class meeting. We first went over the new syllabus, including the required reading, the HAP, and other aspects that would be part of our grade. Last quarter was such a great experience for me, and I have no other reason to believe that it would not be so for this quarter as well. This is the first time that I am having a course for two quarters with the same students and professors, and I really like it a lot. It gives enough time to know and interact with my fellow classmates and professors; this class is a close-knit group of friends and mentors and is unique and valuable in that aspect.
I especially look forward to the seniors that we will be meeting in the upcoming weeks and everything that I will be learning from and about them. Also, I am very excited in making a positive impact in the elderly population of the San Diego communities through our HAP projects and everything we have learned and experienced so far in the program.
