It was very exciting to organize a comfort zone for the event at Gary and Mary West Senior Center. To be able to provide them a fun, relaxing, and enjoyable event felt like I was making an impact in the world. The day before the gathering at West Center, I had gone over to Anna’s place to make baked goods. I had been on a roll of being sick and I was unsure if I could’ve made it to the event. However, because I had gathered strength, we were able to create brownies and pumpkin bread. The task was tedious, as I am not a baker, but for the sake of the event, I wanted to try my best. On the day of, due to my sickness getting worse, I was unable to attend. The work and idea when working together with my classmates to orchestrate this event was enjoyable, and I wish I was able to see everything come together.
