For our last lecture of this quarter, we had a potluck which everyone brought different kinds of food. Having a potluck at week 10 was an excellent idea because all of us were tired with school work, so it was nice to have a class that we did not have to worry about any assignment or exam. Thus, we could sit together and start sharing our stories with each other in the class. Food tasted delicious. We also went over our HAP proposals for each group. Despite the fact that we had not thought about a specific plan for our HAP, we all had a general idea of where we would go. Having a direction for the HAP can be essential, so we can spend our spring break thinking more deeply and planning out small details ahead of time instead of running out of time in the Spring quarter.
We also spent last 30 minutes to watch a HAP video that was done by the previous Life Course Scholar. The story was absolutely adorable and fantastic, and it was really creative to think about this idea and capture all these precious memories through camera once again. This class was my favorite class for this quarter. I never have to worry about or stress out for this class. Each assignment is unique and has its purpose, and I enjoy doing each project. I have learned a lot from this class including as small as communicating with others to as big as preparing each event.
