I just wanted to take time to briefly reflect on the NAP project. This project was harder than I thought, jot because of the level of difficulty per say but because of logistics and team work involved. We had to collaborate with peoples' schedules and the workload was a lot in the middle of such a hectic time in the quarter.
The project however was such a good comprehensive project that allowed us to pull a lot of what we learned into a big project and apply it to a tangible space. Our group looked at Sabre Springs, which was cool because it was a place someone in our group grew up at and would always think about aging at in the future. It was cool to visit and go out in and be very vigilant and think like an elder and try to imagine this as a space we would like to occupy and things we would like to see. Diversity is something I could personally not live without and would love to see integrated and although it was very clean, it was too quiet and a monolith and I personally think a lot of institutional changes need to be enacted for it to be a welcoming space for a lot more people.
